At We Are With You Charitable Trust, our journey began with the inspiring story of our founder, Ayyappa Siginam. Born in a below-poverty-line family in Vaidana Village, Andhra Pradesh, Ayyappa faced significant hardships from a young age. After losing his father at 10 and his elder sister at 12, Ayyappa struggled to continue his education while working in the fields to support his expenses. Despite these challenges, he excelled in his studies, completing his class 10 in a government school with remarkable results.

With the help of his mother and generous benefactors, Ayyappa pursued intermediate studies but faced academic and financial difficulties. Determined to rise above his circumstances, he secured a loan using his father's property and enrolled in a corporate college. His perseverance paid off, leading him to secure free admission to Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology through AP EAMCET. During this time, he received scholarships from the Telugu People Foundation and North South Foundation, allowing him to focus on his studies without relying on his mother.

Ayyappa's experiences of hardship inspired him to give back. He began by helping students in his old school and expanded his efforts to guide and financially support orphans and semi-orphans. His dedication caught the attention of influential figures, including the Chairman of the North South Foundation, which led to his introduction to Mr. Padala Surya Prasad, founder of Padala Charitable Trust. Inspired by Mr. Prasad's work, Ayyappa established We Are With You Charitable Trust in 2019, with the support of Padala Charitable Trust and like-minded friends.

Despite facing discouragement, Ayyappa persevered, using his scholarship funds to finance initial projects. He later launched the "Monthly 20" program, which raised substantial funds through small, regular donations. His network grew internationally, and he established CONNECT, a coalition of over fifty NGOs in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, aimed at promoting cooperation and resource sharing.

Today, Ayyappa’s work has earned him widespread recognition. He was named one of the youngest success stories of the Telugu People Foundation and, in 2023, was awarded the Best Young Change Maker at the Plan India Impact Awards by Plan International. His vision expanded as he launched the Atoms Group of Companies, providing education, digital, and hospitality services, and Project Vaaradhi, offering revenue-generating opportunities for students.

At just 23, Ayyappa serves as the Chairman of We Are With You Charitable Trust and two private companies. His resilience and dedication continue to inspire, and through collaborations with educational institutions, he has impacted over 50,000 students with life skills and career guidance. As we move forward, we remain committed to deepening our impact and continuing this mission of compassion and support.
